Congress participation (November)
On 30th and 31st November 2025, Clara Renedo attended the "VII Seminari d'Estudis Hagiogràfics. La santedat en clau femenina" with the conference "Recepció de la literatura hagiogràfica femenina llatina. El cas de la Catedral de Barcelona (s. XIV-XV)". The congress was organized by Departament de Filologia Catalana (Universitat d'Alacant).
Cambridge Urban History: a new contribution (November)

Flocel Sabaté at Parlament de Catalunya (October)
Last 15th October, Flocel Sabaté was invited to the Economy and Finance Committee of the Parlament de Catalunya to talk about the economic situation of Catalonia in the Middle Ages.
Working meeting in Perpignan (September)
On 26 September 2025, Flocel Sabaté, Gemma Carnisé and Martí Vilamajó, members of our research group, participated in a working meeting of the ROMTUR project at the Université Perpignan Via Domitia.

On 10 and 11 September 2025, Isaac Lampurlanés, Clara Renedo and Sergi Tella participated in the "Early Career Workshop of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Ibero-Mediävistik" on "Current Approaches and Challenges in Medieval Iberian Studies", organized by The Institute for Medieval Research (IMAFO) at the The Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW), in Wien, Austria.

Our group member, Sergi Rexach, attended the "XXII Congreso Nacional de la Sociedad Española de Ciencias y Técnicas Historiográficas", organized by Sociedad Española de Ciencias y Técnicas Historiográficas, 16-17 June in Salamanca, Spain.

Sergi Rexach, attended the "II Escola Doctoral d'Estiu sobre la Corona d'Aragó" with the paper "Entre el delicte i la veritat. La indagació judicial al tribunal episcopal gironí (segles XIII-XV)". This meeting was organized by Associació d'Historiadors de la Corona d'Aragó-HISCOAR and Càtedra UB d'Estudis del Renaixement Molins de Rei.

Flocel Sabaté attended the congress "Pervivencia y Metamorfosis del Mundo Medieval en el Imaginario Moderno" with the closing conference "La Edad Media en la construcción del ciudadano ideal (Siglos XIX-XX)". The congress was organized by the research group "Grupo de Investigación IHA (Iconografía e Historia del Arte)" of the Universitat Jaume I.

Doctoral Thesis Defense
Our research group celebrates the graduation of Sergi Tella Pàmies, who defended his doctoral thesis: "Conquista y articulación social de la frontera carolingia en el noreste de la Península Ibérica (siglos VIII-IX)", supervised by Dr. Flocel Sabaté Curull (Universitat de Lleida) and Amancio Isla Frez (Universitat Rovira i Virgili). Congratulations!

Workshop "Investigar les identitats a l'Edat Mitjana. Una mirada des de Catalunya i la Corona d'Aragó" by Rogerio R. Tostes, Sergi Tella, Carlos Crespo and Sara Ubach.
They presented the research they are carrying out in the framework of the project "Collective identities and group solidarities in the late Middle Ages" (PID2022-136257NB-I00).
Presentation of the project "ROMTUR-Innovación digital para poner en valor patrimonio románico poco conocido e impulsar el desarrollo turístico de zonas poco dinamizadas" (EFA065/01 INTERREG POCTEFA) at the EUROPE'S CORNER, by Rogerio R. Tostes and Gemma Carnisé.

Jordi Bolós has published two articles in the dossier ‘Water and landscape history in the Crown of Aragon’ in the journal Agua y Territorio, edited by Universidad de Jaén. The Journal is available in Open Access here.
