The XIV Jornades d'Història de l'Esglèsia i la Religiositat "Negociar l'autoritat i el poder en l'Església medieval" will take place in Monestir de les Avellanes (Os de Balaguer, Lleida) from 14th to 15th July 2025.
The congress will alternate conferences with a guided tour of the Monastery of Vallbona de les Monges and a medieval dinner.

Our group member, Sergi Rexach, attended the "XXII Congreso Nacional de la Sociedad Española de Ciencias y Técnicas Historiográficas", organized by Sociedad Española de Ciencias y Técnicas Historiográficas, 16-17 June in Salamanca, Spain.
XIII International Medieval Meeting Lleida
The 13h International Medieval Meeting Lleida took place in Lleida from 3rd to 6th June 2025.
The meeting was attended by more than a hundred medievalists from around the world.
XVIII Curs Comtat d'Urgell
The 18th Curs Comtat d'Urgell "Memòria, escriptura i poder" took place in Balaguer (Lleida) from 6th to 8th May 2025.
Course included in the project ‘Catalunya país d'arxius, documents that make Europe’ project, which is being developed within the framework of the International Congress of Archives Barcelona 2025, promoted by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de de Catalunya.
Book presentation
Our research group has just published the book La Pau i Treva. Fondarella 1173 which is part of the collection "Verum et Pulchrum. Medium Aevum" edited by Pages Editors.
The authors of the book are Dominique Barthélemy, Thomas Gergen, Nicolas Ruffini-Ronzani, Rolf Grosse, Amancio Isla, Maria Bonet, Carlos Laliena, Damien Carraz and Flocel Sabaté.

On 9th May, the presentation of the book "La pau i treva. Fondarella, 1173" took place in Fondarella (Lleida) with the participation of Joan Reñé, Flocel Sabaté, Joan Busqueta and Jordi Bolós.
Doctoral Thesis Defense
Our research group celebrates the graduation of Sergi Tella Pàmies, who defended his doctoral thesis: "Conquista y articulación social de la frontera carolingia en el noreste de la Península Ibérica (siglos VIII-IX)", supervised by Dr. Flocel Sabaté Curull (Universitat de Lleida) and Amancio Isla Frez (Universitat Rovira i Virgili). Congratulations!
