The consolidated Medieval Studies Research Group "Space, Power and Culture" is a research group made up of medievalists from the universities of Lleida and Rovira i Virgili from the areas of Medieval History, Art History, Spanish Philology and Catalan Philology approved by the University of Lleida in 2001 and recognised by the Generalitat de Catalunya with the highest rating for a consolidated Research Group and financed since 2005. In 2009 l'Agencia de Gestió d'Ajuts Universitaris i de Recerda (AGAUR) has recognized the Group's activity and has renewed it with the maximum consideration and dotation for the period 2009-2013.
